Heat Resistant Felt

Made of 100% pre-oxidized polyacrylonitrile (PAN), our heat resistant felt is genuinely fireproof. Its Limited Oxygen Index (LOI) is as high as 36% (or higher) and it withstands 500℃.

The fireproof felt keeps a soft state in high temperature, and it features a good thermal stability, low heat capacity, and low heat conduction. There is no shrinkage in high temperature either.

These outstanding properties make the PAN heat resistant felt an ideal material for heat insulation and soundproof.

It is widely applied to train, warship, aircraft.

We’ve supplied the China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) with the fire resistant felt (padding) for soundproofing for both their high-speed train in China’s domestic market and the train project in the United States.

We’ve also supplied European Train Seat Companies with the fire resistant felt as the fire insulation barrier for intercity train.
